Pinnacle Centre & Success Tower

12 & 16 Yonge, plus Success Tower at 16 & 18 Harbour Street. A four-tower complex on former railway lands, technically South Core rather than the Harbourfront proper, but close enough that buyers compare the two constantly.

Four towers, one developer

Pinnacle Centre is a genuine complex, four towers built in sequence by Pinnacle International between 2006 and 2009, bounded by Yonge Street, Harbour Street, Bay Street, and the Gardiner Expressway. Pinnacle A at 16 Yonge came first in 2006, followed by Pinnacle B at 12 Yonge in 2007. Success Tower, at 16 and 18 Harbour Street, followed in 2009 as the tallest of the four at 54 storeys, and shares a lobby entrance with the fourth tower at 33 Bay Street.

This puts the complex technically in South Core rather than the Harbourfront waterfront proper, but it's close enough, and compared often enough by buyers, that it's worth understanding on its own terms rather than assuming it's interchangeable with buildings actually on Queens Quay.

Suite mix

Across the complex, suites range from roughly 500 to over 2,200 square feet, with Success Tower specifically offering the widest range, from one-bedroom units up to the executive Palatial Collection penthouses. Floor plans lean toward efficient, open-concept layouts with nine-foot ceilings throughout.

Fees & what to verify

Because amenities are shared across all four towers, fees run lower than many comparable buildings, reported around $0.73 per square foot against a nearby average closer to $0.86. Confirm which specific tower a listing belongs to, since completion dates span three years across the complex, and ask how shared amenity costs are actually allocated between the four condo corporations.

Amenities & location

  • Fitness centre, indoor pool, sauna and steam rooms, squash and tennis courts
  • A running track, library, and basketball court shared across the complex
  • Guest suites, business centre, party rooms, and a theatre
  • Steps from Union Station, the PATH network, Scotiabank Arena, and the Financial District
  • A short walk to the Harbourfront proper and the ferry terminal

Who it suits

Buyers who want genuine proximity to Union Station and the Financial District first, with Harbourfront access as a bonus rather than the main draw. The scale and shared amenity model suit buyers comfortable in a larger, more corporate-feeling complex over a boutique building.

Agent's Take

Buyers sometimes come to me thinking Pinnacle Centre is a Harbourfront building because it shows up in the same searches. It's genuinely South Core, a real, walkable difference from Queens Quay itself. Great pick if Union Station access matters more to you than a water view, worth knowing which priority actually wins before you commit.
